The 2010 Spring Wallis Cove Photography Retreat, produced by LaMich Productions, was held June 11-13, 2010. What an amazing weekend! About 20 photographers from new shooters to experienced shooters emerged on Wallis Cove. We utilized the basement workshop area, the main floor antique parlor, the upstairs studio and workshop. Our teachers stayed in the Wallis Cove Guest House and many attendees stayed in our Wallis Cove Summer Cabins. Back-to-back programs; Gravestone Girls, Sneak Peek Productions, Camp Lincoln Band; workshops such as Casey Danek's HDR BAM! Scott Erb, of Erb Photography conducted Portraiture sessions in our LaMich Productions studio, Donna, of Erb Photography, offered critiqueing and portfolio reviews, Alan Kidawski conducted model photography using 3 classic cars; a 1976 Mercedes convertible roadster, a 1934 Model A pick-up truck and an original 1984 Ford Mustang. Paul Smith conducted landscape photography workshops and also educated our group on HDR (High Dynamic Range). The beach provided our Trash the Dress and bathing suit photography sessions. On top of all that, the group ventured to a wildlife sanctuary and enjoyed wonderful meals cooked and baked up by our friends Linda and Delila. We ended the weekend with a Grand Finale Slideshow and parting thoughts..

Our next photography offering will be October 17th (peak foliage) from early morning to evening. We'll meet at Wallis Cove very early, hop on a bus that will take us to Woonsocket. From there we'll slowly make our way back to Wallis Cove stopping at many photographic waterfalls, vistas, cemeteries. We've got surprises along the way as well. We expect this to be a sell-out.
